HERALD
HOPE |

In 1937 the Herald of Hope, a world-wide tabloid journal of Christian Healing and Salvation, began general circulation under the founding principles of Brother James A. Cheek, assisted by his wife, Amanda.
In the early 1950's, just before Brother Cheek's passing, the publisher's mantle was passed to The Reverend H.J. Smith, to continue in the Lord's directives for continuity. He did exceedingly well and more than doubled the database. He travelled the world promoting the Herald of Hope, and spreading the "Good News", until his wife, Sarah, got very ill and the publication languished for several years because of his devotion and attention to her needs and his advancing age.

In the winter of 1993, the Herald of Hope, once again rolled off the presses in a new magazine format. It was better looking and easier to mail than the old tabloid style, but was not received with much enthusiasm or financial support. That was when we determined the address/mailing database had grown so old that we could not effectively resurrect it. We struggled along for three years, and in 1996 the Herald of Hope moved into the 'Final Frontier' of journalism -- the Electronic Internet Arena of the World Wide Web.
"Herald of Hope" exists to help spiritually enliven your life, set you on the road to becoming a whole person through the healing power of Jesus, and to empower your Christian perspectives by providing you with quality spiritual lessons on wholeness and fulfilment. Pray for wisdom and understanding, as you read the articles in this magazine. If you are blessed by our efforts, please bless us financially in return.
